Congratulations Grade 2’s
Our grade 2 students celebrated a beautiful First Communion on Saturday, April 27th at St. Mary of Visitation Church. This is a significant milestone in their spiritual journey and we couldn’t be prouder of their dedication and commitment to their faith. May this sacrament be a source of grace, joy, and strength for each of them as they embark on this next chapter of their spiritual journey. We would also like to express our deepest gratitude to our wonderful parents and guardians for their unwavering support and encouragement throughout this journey. Your love, prayers, and involvement in your child’s religious formation have been instrumental in preparing them for this special day. A huge round of applause is also due to our dedicated teachers, Mrs. Castillo, Miss Hotzwik, and Mrs. MacMillan who have provided our students with guidance and spiritual support. Congratulations Grade 2’s!!
Catholic Education Week: We Are Called to Love
Catholic Education Week 2024 is scheduled to take place during the week of May 6th – May 10th. All Catholic schools in Ontario will engage in a series of events to celebrate the ongoing gift of publicly funded Catholic education. Publicly funded Catholic education has existed in Ontario since 1841 and its graduates have served Ontario and Canada very well. The current generation of students in our publicly funded Catholic schools will serve with the same spirit and generosity as their previous generations.
We will be preparing a series of activities, which will highlight how our school is being Called to love together. Stay tuned for more information!

The Great Gulp Event – March 22 – Eco Team
This upcoming Friday, March 22nd, marks The Great Gulp event. We’re rallying all staff and students to unite in reducing our carbon footprint by exclusively using reusable bottles. Let’s refrain from bringing single-use items like Tim Horton coffees or plastic water bottles, opting instead for sustainable choices. Your ongoing support is deeply appreciated.
Thank you,
